The Eurotherm Model 900EPC Series of Controller/Programmers have moved to a Level 3 Obsolescence as of June, 2001. What does this mean?

  • Orders from existing or new customers are no longer accepted.
  • The 900EPC has been removed from any Product Catalogs and Price Lists.
  • Adequate spare parts and components will be stocked at the Leesburg, Virginia, Repair facility for continuing warranty and long term non-warranty support of the 900EPC Series.
  • The Eurotherm Repair facility will be able to provide service on the 900 EPC for a minimum of 3 years or more.

Is there a Replacement for the 900EPC? Yes!

There are two new products that are replacements for the 900 EPC. The model 2604 and 2704 three-loop controllers. The 2604 and the 2704 have the same cutout size as the 900EPC - 1/4 DIN. The 2604 has an LED display 2604 while the the 2704 has a graphical display. These instruments have a level of configurability, with math and logic functions and are supported by Eurotherm's new configuration software, iTools.

The 900EPC series of controllers and programmer/controllers are high stability, high accuracy, communicating units designed to cope with a wide range of process needs and environments. The 16-bit 68070 microprocessor delivers the power of a PC; a number of ASICs significantly increase the I/O capability.

The 900EPC controllers are available in both single and dual-loop versions, as well as cascade and ratio versions. They feature modular hardware and software for control of simple or complex loops. Applications include: temperature, flow, level, density, viscosity, humidity, carbon, melt pump, gravimetric feed systems and other processes.
